Japanese: べき級数(冪級数) - べききゅうすう（英語表記）power series

A power is a power _of something, and a series with c , a0 , a1 , ... complex constants and z _a complex variable is called a (single variable) power series centered at c . It is also called an integer series. In calculus, we deal with c , an , _and z limited to real numbers, but even in this case, it is advantageous to extend z to a complex number. For a given power series, the upper limit ρ of | z - c | for z at which it converges is called the convergence radius, and the circle | z - c | = ρ is called the convergence circle. There is the following formula (Cauchy-Hadamard's formula).

べきとは累乗のことで，c,a₀,a₁，……を複素定数，zを複素変数とした級数，のことを，cを中心とする(1変数)べき級数という。また，整級数ともいう。　微積分学ではc,a_n,zが実数に限られたものを扱うが，そのときも，zは複素数に拡張して考えたほうが利点が多い。　与えられたべき級数において，それが収束するようなzに対する｜z－c｜の上限ρを収束半径といい，円｜z－c｜＝ρを収束円という。次の公式(コーシー=アダマールの公式Cauchy‐Hadamard’s formula)がある。
