Heian Ibun

Japanese: 平安遺文 - へいあんいぶん

A chronological compilation of historical documents and epigraphy from the Heian period. Edited by Takeuchi Rizo. Published gradually since 1947, it was completed with the publication of a new supplement in 1976. Index volumes were published in 1978 and 1980. It consists of 11 volumes of ancient documents, 1 volume of new supplement to the ancient documents, 1 volume of epigraphy, 1 volume of epigraphs, and 2 volumes of indexes. The ancient documents volume contains approximately 5,500 documents from 781 to 1185, and together with the approximately 600 items in the epigraphs and the approximately 3,000 items in the epigraphs, it covers almost all the basic historical materials for research into the history of the Heian period.

平安時代の古文書・金石文などを，編年で編集した史料集。竹内理三編。1947年以降漸次刊行され，1976年の新続補遺刊行により完結。その後1978年・1980年に索引編が刊行された。古文書編11巻・古文書編新続補遺１巻・金石文編１巻・題跋編１巻・索引編２巻からなる。古文書編には781年から1185年に至る約5500通の文書が収録され，金石文編の約600点，題跋編の約3000点とあわせ，平安時代史研究のための基本史料がほぼ網羅されている。
