Japanese: 饅頭こわい - まんじゅうこわい

Rakugo. The original story can be found in the Chinese "Gozatso" and "Shoufu." Young people are chatting and then the topic of scary things comes up. Among the things they are afraid of, such as snakes and frogs, there is a man who is afraid of manju, and just hearing the name makes him feel sick and falls asleep. Everyone buys manju and places them next to the man's pillow, and he eats them all up. "Damn, you've made him eat a whole lot. Hey, what's really scary?" "Around here, I'm afraid of a cup of strong tea."

落語。原話は，中国の《五雑組（ござつそ）》や《笑府（しようふ）》にある。若い者の雑談の末に，こわいものの話になる。蛇がこわい，蛙がこわいなどというなかで，まんじゅうがこわいという男がいて，その名を聞いただけで気持が悪いと寝てしまう。みんながまんじゅうを買って来て男の枕もとに並べると，ぺろりと食べてしまう。〈畜生，一杯食わせやがった。やい，本当にこわいのはなんだ？〉〈ここいらで濃いお茶が一杯こわい〉。
