"Bunbuku" is a Japanese kanji that mimics the sound of tea boiling. This tea kettle is handed down at Morinji Temple in Tatebayashi, Gunma Prefecture. According to legend, the tea kettle used by an old monk named Shukaku was so mysterious that no matter how much he simmered it, the water would never run out.
