Bunpitsu Genshinsho

Japanese: 文筆眼心抄 - ぶんぴつげんじんしょう

A critical book of Chinese poetry and prose from the early Heian period. Compiled and written by Kukai. 1 volume. Completed in 820. Kukai abridges important parts of Bunkyohifuron. Although there are some differences in the order and title from Bunkyohifuron, most of the work is the same, but the explanations are simplified. It was a favorite of medieval poets and influenced the poetry theories of the time.

平安時代前期の漢詩文評論書。空海編著。1巻。弘仁 11 (820) 年成立。空海が『文鏡秘府論』の重要な部分を抄録したもので，編次や題目に『文鏡秘府論』と異なる点もあるが，大部分は一致しており，ただ説明が簡略になっている。中世の歌人に愛読され，当時の歌論に影響を与えた。
