A large lake in Manitoba, Canada. It stretches 380km north to south and 90km east to west, with an area of ​​23,750km2 and an elevation of 217m. It is the remains of Lake Agassiz, a large glacial lake from the Pleistocene era, and there are many glacial lakes in the vicinity. It is connected to Hudson Bay by the Nelson River. It was an important transportation route during the pioneering period.
