A type of plesiosaur discovered in 1968 from the Futaba Group (Late Cretaceous) in Itagizawa, Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture. It had a long neck, fin-like limbs, and lived underwater. It was named after the place of discovery and its discoverer, Suzuki Nao (a high school student at the time). The fossil was found to be almost complete, with a total length of about 7m.
