Japanese: 複体 - ふくたい（英語表記）complex

A set K of at most countably many simplices of various dimensions in n -dimensional Euclidean space is called a complex if it satisfies the following conditions: (1) All edge simplexes of K belong to K. (2) The intersection of two simplexes in K is the edge simplexes of both simplexes. (3) If we take a suitable neighborhood of a point in a simplex in K , it will intersect with at most finitely many simplexes in K.

n次元ユークリッド空間中の，たかだか可算個の，種々の次元の単体の集合 Kが次の条件を満たすとき，Kを複体という。 (1) Kに属する単体の辺単体はすべて Kに属する。 (2) Kに属する2つの単体の共通部分は，その両方の単体の辺単体である。 (3) Kに属する単体に含まれる点に対して，ある適当な近傍をとれば，それは Kのたかだか有限個の単体と交わる。
