Articles 1 to 11 explain the origins of Kabuki, which focuses on dance, such as the origins of Wakashu Kabuki and the Jurokuban Komai. Articles 12 to 14 discuss the essence of dance technique, taking up the six styles of "Kyojitsukeikyokuheiten," and describing the dancing of famous actors who should serve as models. Articles 15 to 17 are treatises on the technical aspects of dance.
