Fukiage [town] - Fukiage
An old town in Hioki County, west of the Satsuma Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture. Izaku, the center of the town, is an old castle town. The town is mainly agricultural, but also cultivates fruit trees and raises beef cattle. It is home to Fukiage Beach and Isaku Onsen. In May 2005, it merged with Higashiichiki Town, Ijuin Town, and Hiyoshi Town in Hioki County to become a city, Hioki City. 96.99 km2 . 9,935 people (2003).

A former town in Kita-Adachi County, northeastern Saitama Prefecture. Located in the alluvial lowlands on the east bank of the Arakawa River, it produces rice and wheat, and manufactures electrical equipment. The main settlement is a former post town on the Nakasendo road, and the Takasaki line runs through it. In October 2005, it was incorporated into Kawasato Town, Kita-Saitama County, and Konosu City. 15.04 km2 . Population: 28,354 (2003).
