An old town in Hioki County, west of the Satsuma Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture. Izaku, the center of the town, is an old castle town. The town is mainly agricultural, but also cultivates fruit trees and raises beef cattle. It is home to Fukiage Beach and Isaku Onsen.
