A group of Indonesian students who engaged in anti-colonial political activities in the Netherlands from 1923 to the end of the 1930s. Its predecessor was the East India Society (Indische Vereeniging), founded in 1908, which was a kind of social organization, but it gradually became more political when Suwardi Suryaningrat and Cipto Mangunkusumo arrived in the Netherlands in 1913 and joined the group. In 1917, it joined an association made up mainly of Dutch youth who would one day find employment in the Dutch East Indies, but withdrew in 1919 due to differences in position, and in January 1923, the East India Society was renamed the Indonesian Society.

1923年から1930年代末期までオランダで反植民地主義政治活動を行ったインドネシア留学生の団体。前身は1908年に設立された東インド協会Indische Vereenigingで，一種の親睦団体であったが，スワルディ･スルヤニングラット，チプト･マングンクスモらが13年にオランダに到着して，この団体に参加したため，徐々に政治色を強めた。17年には将来オランダ領東インドに就職するオランダ青年を主とする連合団体に加盟したが，立場の相違から19年に脱退し，23年1月に東インド協会をインドネシア協会と改称した。
