A city in the western part of Jiangxi Province, China. The Anyuan Coal Mine in Anyuan District of the city produces large quantities of high-quality coal, and is said to be the largest mine south of the Yangtze River. It is shipped via two railway lines, Pingzhou (Pingxiang-Zhuzhou) and Zhejiang (Hangzhou-Zhuzhou). The mine was developed by Sheng Xuanhuai in 1898, and was originally operated by the Hanye Ping Coal and Iron Company. It was also the site of the Great Anyuan Coal Mine Strike led by Mao Zedong and Liu Shaoqi in 1922, and was nicknamed "Red Anyuan" and "Little Moscow." Today, the old Anyuan Railway and Mine Workers' Club remains in the city, as well as the Anyuan Railway and Mine Workers' Movement Memorial Hall. 870,000 people (2014).

中国，江西省西部の都市。同市安源区の安源炭鉱は良質多量の石炭を産し，長江以南の最大の鉱山といわれ，萍株（萍郷〜株洲）・浙【かん】(せっかん)（杭州〜株洲）２鉄路で積み出される。この炭鉱は1898年盛宣懐により開発され，もと漢冶萍煤鉄公司が経営していた。また，1922年毛沢東，劉少奇らが指導した安源炭鉱大ストライキの地であり，〈紅色安源〉〈小モスクワ〉と称された。現在，市内には旧安源鉄路・鉱山労働者クラブが残されているほか，安源鉄路・鉱山労働運動記念館が設けられている。87万人（2014）。
