It is thought to be near Himeshima (formerly Hieshima Town ) in Nishiyodogawa Ward, Osaka City, but it is unclear. *Kojiki (712), Vol. 2: "When the Emperor decided to visit Himeshima for the sake of prosperity , he went there." [2] An island in the Suo-Nada Sea in northeastern Oita Prefecture. It is located about five kilometers offshore north of the Kunisaki Peninsula. It has an area of 7.2 square kilometers. It was formed by four small volcanic islands connected by sandbars. It is part of the Seto Inland Sea National Park. Himeshima. *Kojiki (712), Vol. 1 (Kananaga Honkun): "Next, Himeshima was born. Its other name is Amaichine. " [3] An island in the Genkai Sea in northwestern Fukuoka Prefecture. It is located about three kilometers offshore west of Hotokezaki, Shima Town, Itoshima County. [一] 古く、淀川の河口にあった島。大阪市西淀川区の姫島(旧稗島町)付近とも考えられるが未詳。※古事記(712)下「天皇豊楽(とよのあかり)為たまはむと将て、日女嶋に幸行(い)でませる時に」[二] 大分県北東部、周防灘にある島。国東(くにさき)半島北方約五キロメートルの沖合にある。面積七・二平方キロメートル。四つの小火山島が砂州で連結されてできた。瀬戸内海国立公園の一部。女嶋。※古事記(712)上(兼永本訓)「次に女嶋(ヒメシマ)を生む。亦の名は天(あま)一根と謂ふ」[三] 福岡県北西部、玄界灘にある島。糸島郡志摩町の仏崎西方約三キロメートルの沖合にある。面積〇・七五平方キロメートル。江戸時代は黒田藩の流刑地で、野村望東尼が流された。
