A manor in Uda County, Yamato Province (present-day Haibara Town, Nara Prefecture). Also known as Himaki no Sho. It included over seven cho of rice fields. It was developed by Ken Seiri around 920 (Engi 20). The manor name first appeared in a document from 1061 (Kohei 4). It is a prime example of a pasture developing into a manor. In 1198 (Kenkyu 9), Chogen, a guardian monk for the retired Emperor Gotoba, acquired it from Taira Morisuke, the 11th successor since its development, and donated it to Shichijo-in. At this point, a system of positions was established in which the main position was passed down to Shichijo-in, the ryoke position to Chogen, and the shiji position to Taira Morisuke's descendants, and thereafter the main position was passed down as Shichijo-in land.
