Year of death: 9th year of Genna, 8th year of leap year 2 (September 26, 1623) Year of birth: Koji 1 (1555) A nobleman in the Azuchi-Momoyama and Edo periods. His biological father was Hirohashi Kunimitsu, and his biological mother was the daughter of Takakura Nagaie. His previous name was Kaneyasu. He succeeded the Hino family in 1559. In 1576 he became Kurodo no to (Chief Chamberlain), in 1576 he became a councilor and a junior third rank, in 1577 he became a provisional middle counselor, and in 1580 he became a provisional chief counselor and a senior second rank counselor. In 1602 he was prevented from serving at the Imperial Court together with his son Sukekatsu, and ran away. In 1605 he resigned as provisional chief counselor, and in 1609 he became a monk. After that, he served Tokugawa Ieyasu under the name Yuishin'in, and traveled to Sunpu many times, and in 1615 Ieyasu assigned him land of over 1,033 koku 4 to in Shimizuwakimura, Gamo County, Omi Province (Shiga Prefecture), and other areas. After Ieyasu's death, he went down to Edo and served Tokugawa Hidetada, and passed away in Tokyo in 1623. His Buddhist name was Chiun. He was knowledgeable about court etiquette, customs, and literature, and was friends with Sen no Rikyu. He wrote a diary, "Kisuke-kyo-ki" (1605-11). 没年:元和9.閏8.2(1623.9.26) 生年:弘治1(1555) 安土桃山・江戸時代の公卿。実父は広橋国光,実母は高倉永家の娘。前名は兼保。永禄2(1559)年に日野家を継ぐ。天正4(1576)年蔵人頭,同5年に参議,従三位,同7年に権中納言,同15年権大納言,正二位となった。慶長7(1602)年に子資勝と共に朝廷への出仕を止められ出奔し,同8年に権大納言を辞任して,同12年に出家した。その後,唯心院と号して徳川家康に仕えたびたび駿府に下向,同18年には家康より近江国(滋賀県)蒲生郡清水脇村などに1033石4斗余の地をあてがわれた。家康の没後は江戸に下向して徳川秀忠に祗候し,元和9(1623)年に上京して没した。法名知云。有職故実,文芸に詳しく,千利休と親交があった。日記に『輝資卿記』(1605~11)がある。 (伊東正子) 出典 朝日日本歴史人物事典:(株)朝日新聞出版朝日日本歴史人物事典について 情報 |
