Nonmagnetic material - nonmagnetic alloy

Nonmagnetic material - nonmagnetic alloy
A general term for metallic materials that are not magnetized and therefore are not affected by magnetic fields. It is used especially in conjunction with magnetic materials. To use magnetic materials to create devices that utilize magnetism, such as electromagnets, the magnetic materials are arranged in shapes and dimensions appropriate to the purpose, but the parts that support them must be made of nonmagnetic materials. This is to prevent losses such as leakage of magnetic field lines and unnecessary heat generation. In large devices in particular, the forces applied to these parts are large, so materials with excellent strength and toughness are required.
