The Chari-Nile languages are a subdivision of the Nilo-Saharan language family. They are found in a wide area, from all of Sudan to the upper reaches of the Nile, including Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. They include many dialects of Nubian in the Nile Valley and Kordofan in Sudan, Tama, Mararit, and Dage in the Darfur-Wadai region, and Teuso in Uganda, as well as many other languages known as the Nilotic languages.

ナイル･サハラ語族の下位区分である，シャリ･ナイル諸語Chari‐Nileに属する言語群。スーダン全域からナイル川上流のウガンダ，ケニア，さらにタンザニアに至る広い地域に分布している。スーダンのナイル川流域とコルドファンにおけるヌビア語Nubianの多くの方言，ダールフール･ワダイ地方のタマ語，マラリット語，ダジュ語，ウガンダのテウソ語など，さらにはナイル言語群(ナイロート語群)Niloticと呼ばれる多数の言語が含まれる。
