Guarana drink - Guarana inryo

A type of carbonated drink containing guarana seed extract. It is flavored with fruit flavors such as lemon and colored with caramel, and has the same color as cola and a sweet and sour taste. In Japan, before the war, there was a drink called 567 (Gorona), a play on guarana, and after the war, an apple-flavored drink was produced. ガラナの種子エキスを含む炭酸飲料の一種。レモンなど果実系のフレーバーで着香し，カラメルで着色するもので，コーラ同様の色と甘酸味とをもつ。日本では，戦前ガラナをもじった〈567(ゴロナ)〉という名のものがあり，戦後はリンゴの香味をつけたものが製造されている。【菅原 竜幸】
