A town in Iwami County in eastern Tottori Prefecture, bordering Hyogo Prefecture. It lies in the Gamou River basin, and Uradome, in the center of the town, was a castle town from the Sengoku to Edo periods. Fishing is a thriving industry. Uradome Coast (a scenic spot and natural monument) is part of the San'in Kaigan National Park, and there is also a swimming beach.
