A town in Iwami County in eastern Tottori Prefecture, bordering Hyogo Prefecture. It lies in the Gamou River basin, and Uradome, in the center of the town, was a castle town from the Sengoku to Edo periods. Fishing is a thriving industry. Uradome Coast (a scenic spot and natural monument) is part of the San'in Kaigan National Park, and there is also a swimming beach. 鳥取県東部，兵庫県に接する岩美郡の町。蒲生(がもう)川流域を占め，中心の浦富(うらどめ)は戦国〜江戸時代の城下町。漁業が盛ん。浦富海岸（名勝，天然記念物）は山陰海岸国立公園に属し，海水浴場もある。カキツバタ群落（天然記念物），岩井温泉がある。122.32km2。１万2362人（2010）。
