Anti-Semitism

Japanese:
Anti-Semitism
Anti-Semitism is also known as anti-Semitism. It is a belief that discriminates against and excludes Jews for religious, economic, and racial reasons. It has existed since ancient times, but it was especially prevalent in medieval Christian society, when the Lateran Council in the 12th and 13th centuries regulated Jewish clothing and the areas in which Jews lived (ghettos), and discrimination against them as an "internal enemy" progressed. Direct violence against Jews by the masses was also repeated, such as in the Russian pogroms. In the 19th century, the belief that Jews were a biologically inferior Semitic race (anti-Semitism), as represented by JA Gobineau and HS Chamberlain, was born, and in Germany, Austria, and other countries it even became an element of political movements. The Nazis in particular advocated this belief, killing millions of Jews during World War II. →Concentration camps→Related topics Goebbels | Nazism | Neo-Nazism | Hitler | Mein Kampf
