Neurology is the name of the medical department that deals with neurological disorders, and the study of this field is called neurology or neurology. In Japan, the term "neurology" simply means psychiatry. Neurology is a field that was established and developed in the 19th century, and is currently closely related to psychiatry, neurosurgery, internal medicine, pediatric neurology, neuropsychology, neurootology, neuroophthalmology, and neuroradiology. Furthermore, it is supported not only by clinical studies, but also by a wide range of basic sciences such as neuroanatomy, neuropathology, neurochemistry, neuropharmacology, neurophysiology, molecular genetics, and molecular biology, and is the core of neuroscience, which includes these basic and clinical fields.
