Year of death: 19th February 12th of the Jogan period (24th March 870) Year of birth: Enryaku 16 (797) A scholar of the early Heian period. Son of Toyoo Inabe no Miyatsuko. Born in Inabe County, Ise Province (Inabe County, Mie Prefecture, part of Kuwana City). His pen name was Nadatsu. In 828, he changed his surname to Harusumi along with his siblings. During the Jowa Incident (842), as he was a Togu scholar, he was demoted to Suo Gon no Kami when Prince Tsunesada was deposed. He was later pardoned and returned to Kyoto, where he became a doctor of literature and in 860 became a councilor. In 861, he completed the Shoku Nihon Koki with Fujiwara no Yoshifusa and was promoted to the rank of Jusanmi. He was a humble person, and it is said that he never criticized others, nor was he spoken ill of by others. His grandfather, Zaimaro, recognized his genius early on and invested his fortune in raising him, and it is said that his writing became even more refined as he grew older. However, none of his four children took over the family business, and it ended with Zennawa's first generation. 没年:貞観12.2.19(870.3.24) 生年:延暦16(797) 平安前期の学者。猪名部造豊雄の子。伊勢国員弁郡(三重県員弁郡,桑名市の一部)の出身。字は名達。天長5(828)年,兄弟姉妹と共に春澄に改姓。承和の変(842)では,東宮学士であった関係から,恒貞親王の廃太子にともない周防権守に左遷された。のち許されて帰京,文章博士を経て貞観2(860)年参議となり,同12年,藤原良房と共に『続日本後紀』を完成,従三位に昇った。謙虚な人柄で,人をそしることも,また他人から悪くいわれることもなかったという。祖父の財麿が早くからその天才ぶりを見抜き,財産を投じて養育したといい,その文章は老いてますますみがきがかかったと伝える。しかし子供4人のだれも家業を継がず,善縄1代で終わった。 (瀧浪貞子) 出典 朝日日本歴史人物事典:(株)朝日新聞出版朝日日本歴史人物事典について 情報 |
