Paris Commune (English)

Japanese: パリ･コミューン（英語表記）Commune de Paris

In the narrow sense, it refers to the Commune Assembly established in Paris between March 18 and May 28, 1871, but in the broader sense, it refers to the movement that gave rise to it. It was the largest urban revolt of the 19th century, and marked the culmination of the revolutionary movement in Paris that began with the French Revolution. It also had a major impact on revolutions and socialist movements in other countries around the world. The movement that led to the establishment of the Paris Commune began in the anti-imperialist movement at the end of the Second Empire.
