Hayakawaso - Hayakawanosho

Japanese: 早河荘 - はやかわのしょう

This manor was located in the vicinity of Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is thought to have occupied roughly the southern half of the current city. During the Heian period, the aristocrat Oe Kinsuke, who came to Sagami Province in 1020 (Kannin 4), established Hayakawamaki during his term as provincial governor. During the Choreki era (1037-40), he donated Hayakawamaki along with other provincial holdings to Fujiwara no Michinaga's son, Minbukyo Nagaie, and regarded it as the main family, becoming the lord himself and passing it on to his descendants. His grandson Oe Kinchu handed over the position of lord to his adopted son, Michizane, in 1095 (Kaho 2), but a dispute arose between Kinchu's eldest daughter Nakako and Michizane over the position.

神奈川県小田原市周辺にあった荘園。現在の同市のほぼ南半分くらいを占めていたと思われる。平安時代，1020年(寛仁4)に相模守として下向した貴族大江公資が国司在任中に早川牧として設定した。彼は長暦年間(1037‐40)に他の国の所領とともに早川牧を藤原道長の子の民部卿長家に寄進し，これを本家と仰ぎ，みずからは領家となって子孫に伝えた。孫の大江公仲は95年(嘉保2)に領家職を養子の以実に譲ったが，公仲の長女仲子と以実の間に領家職をめぐる相論が起こった。
