Born: March 27, 1765 in Munich [Died] May 23, 1841. Munich. German philosopher and theologian. After studying medicine and mining, he turned to philosophy and was influenced by J. Boehme, F. Schelling, and the French mystic Saint-Martin. He criticized the critical philosophy represented by I. Kant, and preached the "realization of divine knowledge."
