1919‐1994 Polish composer. From 1947 he worked in the music department of a radio station in his hometown of Krakow. In 1950 he moved to Tel Aviv-Yafo, where he helped establish the National Music Library and taught at the Academy of Music there. From 1957 he mainly worked in Paris and Vienna. For over ten years he directed the publishing of contemporary music at the Vienna University of Music.
