A collection of Chinese documents related to painting and calligraphy. 100 volumes. It was completed by Sun Yuepan, Wang Yuanqi (→Fourth King Wu Yun) and others over a period of three years, beginning in 1705 (44th year of the Kangxi era) of the Qing Dynasty, under imperial command. It compiles documents related to painting and calligraphy from ancient times to the end of the Ming Dynasty, categorized into sections such as theory on calligraphy, theory on painting, biographies of calligraphers, and biographies of painters, from 1,844 documents. The source of each document is listed, and the articles are arranged in chronological order, but the characters and historical research are uncertain, so caution is required when citing.

中国の書画に関する文献を集成したもの。 100巻。孫岳頒，王原祁 (→四王呉惲 ) らが勅命によって清の康煕 44 (1705) 年から3年間を費やして完成。古代から明代末までの書画に関する文献を書論，画論，書家伝，画家伝などの条目別に 1844種の文献から抜き出している。各条には文献の出典を記し，記事も時代順に配列してあるが，用字，考証が不確実で，引用には注意を要する。
