A former town in Ishikawa County, central Ishikawa Prefecture. Located in the northeastern corner of the Tedori River alluvial fan. Hokuriku Railway runs through the area. Urbanized with the development of Kanazawa City. Produces rice and fruit. In recent years, printing, food, machinery, and other industries have moved in, and the area has become a residential area.
