Japanese: 日本書紀通証 - にほんしょきつうしょう
Nihonshoki Tsuushō
Commentary. Thirty-five volumes. Twenty-three books. Written by Tanikawa Shigeki. Completed in 1751, published in 1752. The first commentary covering the entire "Nihon Shoki." Contains many original views on meanings and readings of words, and also refers to Confucian and Buddhist texts, with a prominent view from the Suika Shinto perspective.
