North Caucasus Steppe


[Nature]
The topography is divided into four parts: (1) North Caucasus Steppe: The right bank of the Kuma River and the Terek River basin in the east, and the lower reaches of the Don River and the Kuban River basin in the west. The area between the two is hilly. The eastern part has little precipitation and is a nomadic area, while the western part is a black soil area with a lot of rain and is a grain-growing area.
