Japanese: 謎帯一寸徳兵衛 - なぞのおびちょっととくべえ

Kabuki kyogen. Three acts, six scenes. It premiered in July 1811 (Bunka 8) at Edo Ichimuraza as the second Sewa-kyogen in Tamamo-no-Mae Obana Nishikie. It was a collaboration between Tsuruya Nanboku IV and Fukumori Kyusuke. Oshima Danshichi was played by Matsumoto Koshiro V, Issun Tokubei by Bando Mitsugoro III, and Otatsu and Okaji by Iwai Hanshiro V. It is based on the real murder of a woman in the Iriya rice fields and the bizarre incident of a woman getting entangled in a mosquito net near Iidabashi. It is adapted from the plot of Natsumatsuri Naniwa Kagami, one of the most well-known Gidayu kyogen plays.

歌舞伎狂言。3幕6場。1811年(文化8)7月《玉藻前尾花錦繡（たまものまえおばなのにしきえ）》の二番目世話狂言として江戸市村座で初演。4世鶴屋南北と福森久助の合作。大島団七を5世松本幸四郎，一寸（いつすん）徳兵衛を3世坂東三津五郎，お辰･お梶を5世岩井半四郎ほか。当時実際にあった入谷田圃での女殺しと，飯田橋近辺での蚊帳にからまる猟奇事件とに取材したもの。代表的な義太夫狂言の一つ《夏祭浪花鑑（なつまつりなにわかがみ）》の筋になぞらえて脚色がなされている。
