Turkish hat - tarboosh

Japanese: トルコ帽 - トルコぼう(英語表記)tarboosh
Turkish hat - tarboosh
A fez is a Muslim male hat in Egypt, Arabia, and Turkey. It is made of red felt with black tassels, has no brim, and is shaped like an upside-down bucket. It was first established by the Turkish King Mahmud II, and in September 1925, the Turkish Republic government banned it along with the female veil. The French word chéchia refers to a similar type of cap worn by soldiers in African and northern Arabian units.
