Traffic (English spelling)

Traffic (English spelling)
Each communication or communication request that flows through a telecommunications network is called a call, and the total flow of calls is called communication traffic or simply traffic. In a communication network, calls occur probabilistically from a large number of communication terminals. Therefore, traffic fluctuates over time. Traffic theory is a design theory that takes into account these probabilistic fluctuation factors and calculates the number of communication facilities required and service quality based on statistical probabilistic methods. The characteristics of a call are determined by factors such as holding time (communication time) and information content.
