Drava (river)

Japanese: ドラバ[川](英語表記)Drava
Drava (river)
A western tributary of the Danube. It is 723 km long. It originates in the Eastern Alps in Austria, enters Slovenia near Dravograd, and joins the Danube east of Osijek in Croatia. Its main tributaries are the Mura, Dravinja, Bednja, and Karašica. Taking advantage of its abundant water, numerous hydroelectric plants have been built around Maribor in Slovenia and Varaždin in Croatia. The navigable part of the Drava is 151 km long, but it is becoming longer as the basin is developed.
