An evergreen fern of the family Pteridophyllaceae. It is found mainly on roadsides and cliff edges from Honshu to Kyushu. It is widely distributed in the temperate to subtropical zones of Asia. The leaves grow in clusters from small underground stems, 10 to 40 cm tall, with short petioles and dark brown stripes. チャセンシダ科の常緑シダ。おもに本州〜九州の,路傍や崖のふちなどに多い。アジアの温帯〜暖帯に広く分布。小さい地下茎から葉が集まって立ち,高さ10〜40cm,葉柄は短く,濃褐色のすじがある。葉は倒披針形の2〜3回羽状複葉で,小羽片には切れ込みが多く,胞子嚢群は曲がった線形となる。
