Queen of Yamataikoku in the 3rd century. Date of birth and death unknown. Also written as "Iyo". After Himiko's death, a male king was appointed, but the country fell into chaos, so she became king at the age of 13 and stabilized the country. Like Himiko, she paid tribute to Wei. There is also a theory that "Taiyo" refers to the queen of Wa who paid tribute to Jin (Western Jin) in 266. Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
