A powerful lord in Tonami County, Etchu Province, active in the 8th century. Dates of birth and death unknown. In 747 (Tenpyo 19), he donated 3,000 koku of rice to the knowledge of the Vairocana Buddha of Todaiji Temple, and was promoted from no rank to Junior Fifth Rank. The Todaiji Yoroku states that he received 5,000 koku of rice. The Etchu Province Shoen Soken and the map of newly developed fields dated November 14, 759 (Tenpyo Houji 3) indicate that his land existed south of the Igarukino area of Todaiji Temple land in Tonami County, and in 767 (Jingo Keiun 1), he donated 100 cho of newly developed land to the temple, and was awarded the Junior Fifth Rank. At the same time, he was appointed as an Etchu Ingaikyo (extraordinary governor) and was involved in inspecting the newly developed land for Todaiji Temple in the province. 8世紀に活躍した越中国礪(砺)波郡の豪族。生没年不詳。747年(天平19)米3000碩を東大寺盧舎那仏の知識に献じ,無位から外従五位下に叙せられた。《東大寺要録》では米5000石とある。759年(天平宝字3)11月14日付の〈越中国諸郡荘園惣券〉および開田地図には,砺波郡所在の東大寺領伊加留伎野地の南に彼の土地の存在が記されているが,767年(神護景雲1)には墾田100町を同寺に献じて従五位上を授けられ,同時に越中員外介に任じられて同国内の東大寺墾田地の検校に携わっている。
