Collection of ancient manuscripts - Kokanshuei

Japanese: 古簡集影 - こかんしゅうえい

This is a collection of historical materials compiled and published in 1924. In the previous year, valuable historical materials were reduced to ashes in the Great Kanto Earthquake, so the Historiographical Section of Tokyo Imperial University selected rare and rare books necessary for historical research and reproduced them as faithfully as possible to the originals (collotype). Most of the materials included in this collection are indispensable for research on the history of the Heian period, such as fragments of the Vinaya, fragments of the Book of the Later Han, fragments of the Kōninshiki (Kujō family version) for the first and second periods of the same, fragments of the Kikashu (Kikaishu) (Fushimimiya version), Vol. 1 of Chono Gunzai, and Ryō Gikai (Inokuma version), and Wamyō Ruijūshō (Kōsanji version).

1924年に編集刊行された史料集。前年の関東大震災で貴重な史料が灰燼（かいじん）に帰したため，史料の保存と，一方その利用の便宜を考慮し，珍本･稀書のうち，歴史研究に必要な典籍を選び，できるだけ原本に忠実な形による複製(コロタイプ)を当時の東京帝国大学史料編纂掛が行った。《律》断簡，《後漢書》断簡，《弘仁式》主税上断簡，同式部下断簡(以上，九条家本)，《紀家集》断簡(伏見宮本)，《朝野群載》第1巻，《令義解》(以上，猪熊本)，《和名類聚抄》(高山寺本)など，平安時代史研究に不可欠のものがほとんどである。
