Japanese: 銅アンミン錯塩 - どうアンミンさくえん（英語表記）copper ammine complex salt

Also called cuprammonium complex salt. A general term for copper complexes in which ammonia is coordinated to copper(II) ions. Tetraamminecopper complexes are the most well-known. When alcohol is added to an aqueous solution of copper sulfate and ammonia, large blue-purple crystals of [Cu(NH ₃ ) ₄ ]SO ₄ ･H ₂ O are produced. In this complex, four ammonia molecules are coordinated around the copper in a square planar configuration, and one water molecule is coordinated perpendicular to these. When gaseous ammonia is reacted with solid anhydrous copper sulfate, [Cu(NH ₃ ) ₅ ]SO ₄ is obtained.

銅アンモニア錯塩ともいう。銅(II)イオンにアンモニアが配位した銅錯体の総称。テトラアンミン銅錯体は最もよく知られる。硫酸銅のアンモニア水溶液にアルコールを加えると[Cu(NH₃)₄]SO₄･H₂Oの大きな青紫色結晶が生じる。この錯体では，4個のアンモニア分子が銅のまわりに平面正方形に配位し，それと垂直な方向に1個の水分子が配位している。無水硫酸銅固体に気体アンモニアを作用させると[Cu(NH₃)₅]SO₄が得られる。
