Anthemis
A genus of the Asteraceae family native to Europe and Western Asia, it is an annual or perennial plant. The species usually cultivated are Anthemis nobilis (Roman chamomile) and Anthemis tinctoria (Coast chamomile), and for cut flowers, the former cultivar, Thai chamomile, and the latter cultivar, Kelway, are good. The flowers bloom in summer and are yellow or white, with the flower heads in the center being deep yellow. The leaves are finely pinnate and deeply lobed 2-3 times.
