A scholar and politician born in Phaleron, a port in Attica, Greece. Dates of birth and death unknown. A disciple of Aristotle, known for his philosophical achievements. He was close to the family of Antipater, the governor of Macedonia and Greece during Alexander the Great's eastern campaign, and was entrusted with the governance of Athens by Antipater's son Cassander (317-307 BC).
