A hot spring in Myoko Village, Nakakubiki County, Niigata Prefecture (now Myoko City). Earthen gypsum spring. 45℃. One of the 48 hot springs discovered by Kobo Daishi, and Uesugi Kenshin is said to have bathed there as well. Located at an altitude of about 1000m on the eastern foot of Mt. Myoko, it belongs to Myoko-Togakushi Renzan National Park and is a good place for summer vacation and skiing. Take a bus from Sekiyama Station on the Echigo Tokimeki Railway.
