〘 noun 〙 An army in which all of the armor, accessories, horse equipment , and other weapons were uniformly red. Also, a unit in which both samurai and foot soldiers wore red armor. The armies of Iitomi Hyobu, a vassal of Takeda Shingen, and Ii Naomasa, a vassal of Tokugawa Ieyasu, are famous.
