Japanese: 繫[温泉] - つなぎ

This hot spring is located upstream of the Shizukuishi River, on the western edge of Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. The spring quality is a simple hydrogen sulfide spring, with a temperature of 20-65°C. Nearby is Gosho Dam, which was built based on the Kitakami Specific Area Comprehensive Development Plan, and the hot spring and the Gosho Lake, which is filled with water, have been developed into a wide-area park, making it a resort and recreational spot on the outskirts of Morioka City. It is said to have been discovered by Minamoto no Yoriyoshi and Yoshiie, father and son, during the Battle of Zenkunen. Nearby are Oushiyuku Hot Spring, Amihari Hot Spring, and Koiwai Farm. 岩手県盛岡市の西端，雫石（しずくいし）川上流にある温泉。泉質は単純硫化水素泉，泉温20～65℃。近くに北上特定地域総合開発計画に基づいてつくられた御所ダムがあり，水をたたえた御所湖と温泉を中心に広域公園として整備され，盛岡市郊外の保養･行楽地となっている。前九年の役の際に源頼義･義家父子が発見したと伝えられる。近くに鶯宿（おうしゆく）温泉，網張（あみはり）温泉，小岩井農場などがある。【川本忠平】
