Zwinger is a late Baroque palace in the old town of Dresden, the capital of the state of Saxony in eastern Germany. It was built in 1732 by order of Elector Friedrich August I of Saxony, and designed by architect Matthaus Pöppelmann. Today, the palace is home to a variety of art galleries and museums, and is known as one of the country's leading treasure troves of cultural heritage. 《Zwinger》ドイツ東部、ザクセン州の州都、ドレスデンの旧市街にある後期バロック様式の宮殿。1732年、ザクセン選帝侯フリードリヒ=アウグスト1世の命により、建築家マテウス=ペッペルマンの設計で建造された。現在、宮殿内には各種の美術館、博物館があり、同国屈指の文化遺産の宝庫として知られる。ツビンガー宮殿。
