Algoasaurus

...Canada became known as a source of ceratopsians. In South Africa, research began with Algoasaurus (Broom, 1904), discovered in the Early Cretaceous strata near the coast, and the Triassic dinosaurs of the Karoo Basin and the Jurassic dinosaurs of Tendaguru in Tanzania are well known. The excavation of Tendaguru took place over four years from 1909 to 1912, and dinosaurs weighing a total of 250 tons were unearthed, including Brachiosaurus and Kentrosaurus .
