[1] An independent religious corporation temple in Omihachiman, Shiga Prefecture. Formerly of the Tendai sect. The mountain name is Obakiyasan. It is said to have been built by Prince Shotoku and to have been founded when he enshrined his own statues of the Thousand-Armed Kannon, Eleven-Headed Kannon, and Seikannon. It is the 31st temple of the Thirty-Three Temples of the Western Provinces. [2] A Tendai sect temple in Mukojima, Sumida Ward, Tokyo. The mountain name is Hojuzan. It is a branch temple of Kan'ei-ji. It is said to have been founded by Ennin and was originally called Joshin-ji, but Tokugawa Iemitsu changed the name to its current form. It enshrines Benzaiten, one of the Seven Lucky Gods of the Sumida River. It was a famous spot for viewing snow. [一] 滋賀県近江八幡市にある単立宗教法人の寺。もと天台宗。山号は姨綺耶山。聖徳太子の造営で、自刻の千手観音、十一面観音、聖観音の像を安置したのに始まると伝えられる。西国三十三所の第三一番札所。[二] 東京都墨田区向島にある天台宗の寺。山号は宝寿山。寛永寺の末寺。円仁の開創と伝えられ、初め常泉寺と称したが、徳川家光が現在名に改めた。隅田川七福神の一つの弁財天をまつる。雪見の名所とされた。
