Japanese: 長宗我部地検帳 - ちょうそがべちけんちょう

This is a comprehensive land survey record of Tosa Province from the Tensho to Keicho periods (1573-1615) conducted by the Chosokabe clan. It is the only remaining land survey record on a provincial scale from the Sengoku and Azuchi-Momoyama periods. The Chosokabe clan appears to have conducted successive land surveys as they unified Tosa and took control of Shikoku, with examples of such surveys being found in parts of Nagaoka and Takaoka counties in 1578 (Tensho 6), and in Awa Province in 1583. After submitting to the Toyotomi government, a large-scale comprehensive land survey was conducted from September 1587 to May 1590 (only Misaki Village in Hata County was surveyed in December of the same year), and this is thought to have been part of the Taiko land survey (there is also a theory that the Chosokabe land survey record was not included).

長宗我部氏による天正～慶長期(1573‐1615)の土佐国惣検地帳。戦国･織豊期，一国規模で残る検地帳として唯一のものである。長宗我部氏は土佐統一，四国制圧の過程で逐次検地を行ったようであり，1578年(天正6)に長岡郡･高岡郡の一部，83年阿波国にその検地例が見られる。その後，豊臣政権に服属後の87年9月より90年5月にかけて大規模な惣国検地を実施しており(幡多郡三崎村のみ同年12月)，これは太閤検地の一環をなすものと考えられている(長宗我部地検帳無指出論もある)。
