Tatsuo Amano

Japanese: 天野辰夫 - あまのたつお

1892-1974 A nationalist from the Taisho to Showa eras.
Born on February 22, 1892. During his time at Tokyo Imperial University, he was influenced by Uesugi Shinkichi, and in 1919 he formed the Kōkoku Doshikai in opposition to the Shinjinkai. In 1929 he participated in the founding of the Patriotic Labor Party, and in 1933 he was arrested in the Shinpeitai Incident. In 1941 he was also involved in the shooting of Minister of State Hiranuma Kiichiro. He passed away on January 20, 1974. He was 81 years old. He was from Shizuoka Prefecture.

明治25年2月22日生まれ。東京帝大在学中上杉慎吉の影響をうけ,大正8年新人会に対抗して興国同志会を結成。昭和4年愛国勤労党創立にくわわり,8年神兵隊事件で検挙される。16年平沼騏一郎(きいちろう)国務相狙撃(そげき)事件にもかかわった。昭和49年1月20日死去。81歳。静岡県出身。
