Born on February 22, 1892. During his time at Tokyo Imperial University, he was influenced by Uesugi Shinkichi, and in 1919 he formed the Kōkoku Doshikai in opposition to the Shinjinkai. In 1929 he participated in the founding of the Patriotic Labor Party, and in 1933 he was arrested in the Shinpeitai Incident. In 1941 he was also involved in the shooting of Minister of State Hiranuma Kiichiro. He passed away on January 20, 1974. He was 81 years old. He was from Shizuoka Prefecture.
