A daily colonial newspaper published in Korea. It was first published on July 1, 1920 as the Keijo Nichi Nichi Shinbun. It started out as a newspaper promoting public opinion, competing with the Keijo Nippo and other newspapers, which were seen as mouthpieces for the Government-General of Korea. In 1922, compared to the Keijo Nippo's 27,000 copies, the Keijo Nichi Nichi Shinbun had around 8,000 copies, which was not even as high as other papers such as the Busan Nippo (15,000 copies) and the Chosun Ilbo (11,000 copies) (Japanese Journalist Yearbook), and the newspaper's financial situation was poor. On March 15, 1931, management rights were transferred to the former Keijo Nippo manager, Samejima Muneya, and the title was changed to Chosun Nichi Nichi.
